The US dollar made a 0.39% upward movement against Ringgit, trading at 4.1160 at the end of the American session. This upward movement is supported by the U.S. JOLTs Job Openings, which measures the supply of jobs available in the economy on the last day of the previous month and yesterday’s reading was higher-than-expected by the market (which is bullish to the US Dollar). That shows that the US continues to accelerate its economic recovery. On the other hand, Malaysia is still facing an increase in the number of covid-19 infections and this has weakened Ringgit in recent days. If everything remains as it is, the USDMYR could reach the 4.1500 level in the next few days.
