The life of a trader is filled with sucker punches, especially in the begging of the wild voyage that is to invest in a constantly changing environment, which is repetitive in its contents but always presenting itself in another form. History repeats itself in financial markets, but never with the exact same storyline, to know the difference is the “holy grail” of investing.

For example, the current landscape is prone to a sucker punch, there have been a few these past weeks and there will be more, that is a given. where they are coming from its always a guess, our work as traders is not to guess the how, but to be prepared for what happens regardless of the how, that is why I love charts, they tell us the picture, the endgame, with a low percentage of noise. So, in this volatile season, keep your eyes on the charts, don’t give in to the news apparatus, after all, guessing what goes on in the mind of Trump is an impossible job.
